Bread and Butter

BY ANDREAS CAMINADA - As the cornerstones of Alpine food culture, bread and butter are very important to Andreas Caminada. He runs his own wood-fired oven bakery in Fürstenau and has been working with Maria Meyer and Flo Bienerth from the award-winning dairy farm in Andeer for many years.

How to prepare

SERVE HOT

STEPS

  • Preheat the oven to 210°C.
  • Take out the butter and place it into a small bowl. Let it adjust to room temperature.
  • Bake the bread for 10 min. Then remove it from the oven and let it cool down.
  • Cut and serve on a plate or in a breadbasket.
  • COMPONENTS:

    Bread, butter.

    NECESSARY EQUIPMENT:

    Oven.

    PLATE SUGGESTION:

    Plate or breadbasket.

    PREPARATION TIME:

    10 minutes.

    OVEN TEMPERATURE:

    210°C

    Allergens

    Barley (gluten), kamut (gluten), oats (gluten), rye (gluten), spelt (gluten), wheat (gluten), milk. All dishes are prepared in kitchens where all of the 14 declared allergens are present and therefore we cannot rule out cross-contamination.

    Best to consume within 24 hours. Please pay attention and store the right items in the fridge. Please note: the precise storage in the fridge must be at max +5°C. The dishes and recipes cannot be changed on request.
