Bread and Olive Oil

BY MAURO COLAGRECO - Mauro’s sharing bread is an iconic recipe from his grandmother. This sharing bread is, since the opening of the Mirazur, a ritual. Served on the center of the table before the meal, this bread is served warm with the extra virgin olive oil from Menton.

How to prepare

SERVE HOT

STEPS

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  • Take out the olive oil and pour into a small bowl or cup.
  • Bake the bread in the oven for 4-5 minutes.
  • Serve on a plate or in a breadbasket.
  • COMPONENTS:

    Bread, olive oil.

    NECESSARY EQUIPMENT:

    Oven, small cup or bowl.

    PLATE SUGGESTION:

    Plate or breadbasket.

    PREPARATION TIME:

    5 minutes.

    OVEN TEMPERATURE:

    180°C

    Allergens

    Wheat (gluten), rye (gluten), spelt (gluten), milk. All dishes are prepared in kitchens where all of the 14 declared allergens are present and therefore we cannot rule out cross contamination.
